Philifoth Ltd

Privacy Policy

Effective date:

1. Who controls your information

Philifoth Ltd is responsible for personal information processed through the main Philifoth website, Philifoth accounts and the digital services for which Philifoth Ltd determines how and why information is used. A product-specific notice may provide additional details where another entity or customer acts as the controller.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the service and your interaction with it, we may process:

  • identity and contact details, including name, email address and account identifiers;
  • account, authentication and security information;
  • orders, subscriptions, billing references and transaction status, without intentionally storing full payment-card details handled by payment providers;
  • domain, hosting, email, website and service configuration information;
  • support communications, enquiries and feedback;
  • device, browser, network, cookie, diagnostic, audit and usage information; and
  • content or files you choose to submit to a service.

3. Why we use information

We use information to provide and administer requested services, authenticate users, process orders and service changes, communicate about accounts, prevent fraud and misuse, secure and troubleshoot our systems, comply with legal obligations, improve legitimate business operations and respond to enquiries or rights requests.

Where applicable, our lawful bases may include performing a contract, taking requested pre-contract steps, complying with law, protecting legitimate interests that do not override individual rights, protecting vital interests, or consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis.

4. Service providers and other recipients

We may share only the information reasonably required with infrastructure, hosting, domain-registration, email-delivery, payment, fraud-prevention, analytics, customer-support, communications and professional-service providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a properly managed business reorganisation.

Third-party products and websites operate under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal information as a standalone business activity.

5. International processing

Philifoth serves an international market, and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires it, we use recognised safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism and assess the protection appropriate to the information and service.

6. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing services, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal, tax or accounting requirements. Retention periods differ by record type, service status and applicable law. Information is deleted, anonymised or securely restricted when it is no longer required.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and loss. No internet or storage system is risk-free. Customers remain responsible for protecting their credentials, using available security controls and notifying support of suspected compromise.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies for sessions, security, language and service preferences. We may use limited measurement technologies where permitted. Browser controls can restrict cookies, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other account functions.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection; withdraw consent; and complain to an appropriate supervisory authority. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where law or overriding legitimate grounds require it.

Account and communication preferences can be changed through available account settings. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].

10. Children

Philifoth business and account services are not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent or contract for the relevant service. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information without appropriate authority should contact us.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect service, legal or operational changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate service or account notice.

Privacy enquiries: [email protected]. Other contact channels are listed on the Contact page.
